Applicants should hold a Masters or an equivalent degree in an area of synthetic chemistry (organic, organometallic or inorganic) with basic knowledge in spectroscopic and analytical techniques. Previous experience in organometallic chemistry would be a bonus but is not essential. A good command of either German or otherwise the English language and the willingness to learn German is expected. The position is funded for 30 month by the Austrian Science Fund (€49.320,00 p/a). The typical time to obtain a PhD degree is between three and four years.
