TEAMMEMBERS

Thomas Lainer

Ph.D. Student

Thomas obtained his undergraduate degree in the Working group of Prof. Stüger in 2016. He was working part-time at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry in the same Working Group since 2014. After accomplishing the Master's program "Technical Chemistry" with the Thesis: Partial Chlorinated Hydrosilanes, he started his PhD in 2019. The aim of his PhD is the synthesis and characterisation of new functionalized Hydro- and Methoxysilanes.

Lukas Schuh

Ph.D. Student

Lukas obtained his undergraduate degree in the working group of Prof. Dr. Harald Stüger on his topic "Unsaturated Cyclohexasilanes". He was working part-time for Prof. Stüger since 2014. After accomplishing the Master's program "Chemistry" with the Thesis "Carbohydrated Acyl-Silanes and Germanes", at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry, he's currently working on his PhD with the aim to synthesize and characterize new unsaturated cyclohexasilanes and silenes.

Sabrina Pueschmann

Ph.D. Student

Sabrina obtained her undergraduate degree in the working group of Prof. Klimant in the field of Benzoporphirin synthesis. She was working part-time at the Insitute of Analytical Chemistry and Food Technology. After accomplishing the master`s program "Technical Chemistry" with the tesis: Preperation and characterization of J-aggregates of basis of new fluorescent dyes, at the Institute of Analytical Chemistry and Food Technology, she`s currentyl working on her PhD with the aim ot synthesize and characterize new Acylderivatives and applying the classical aldol chemistry to the hearvier carbon homologues.

Aileen Sauermoser

Ph.D. Student

Aileen obtained her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry in the research group of Prof. Fischer in the field of anorganic chemistry (coating of LEDs) at Graz Universtiy of Technology. In the beginning of 2020 she completed her Master's degree in "Technical Chemistry" with the thesis "Perylenediimide Derivatives as Acceptor Material for Organic Photovoltaics" at Graz Universtiy of Technology in the research group of Prof. Trimmel. Currently she is working on her PhD with focusing of the synthesis and characterization of methoxylated polysilanes.

Tanja Wiesner

Ph.D. Student

Tanja completed her bachelor's thesis in Prof. Stüger's working group in 2018. Since then, she worked part-time at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry in the same research group and later already in the research group of Dr. Haas. After achieving her master's degree in "Technical Chemistry", she started her PhD on the synthesis and characterization of group 14 photoinitiators in november 2020.

Manfred Drusgala

M.Sc. Student

Manfred completed his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at Graz University of Technology in the research Goup of Prof. Harald Stüger in 2017. Since then he`s doing his Master`s degree in "Technical Chemistry" at Graz University of Technology and Federico Santa Maria Technical University. Currentyl his Topic of interests are Group 14 Photoinitiators with focus on Germanium based Acylgermanes and derivatives.

Andreas Knoechl

M.Sc. Student

Andreas completed his Bsc in Environmental System Science/ Natural Science doing preliminary work for "Sila-Peterson Reaction of Cyclic Silanide" in the research Group of Prof. Harald Stüger.

Janine Maier

M.Sc Student

Janine completed her bachelor's degree in the research Group of Prof. Harald Stüger in 2017 on the topic of "Heterocyclic Silanes". She was working part-time in the same working group since 2014, later under the supervision of Dr. Michael Haas. Currently she is in the master's degree programme "Technical Chemistry". For her master thesis she focused on the "Synthesis of New Heavier Group 14 Enolates".
